  • Vision and working method

Dare to play, feel and to be sensitive!

Alexandra Loembé has a holistic approach and vision on dance and the dancing body and applies this in her artistic and pedagogical-didactic actions. She devotes her professional career to establishing  her dance idiom and movement practice in an intuitive way. Her authentic working method is in continuous development, in which she works from multisensory and kinaesthetic awareness, the here and now, the body as a whole, the power of the process, personal development and style transcending dance.

    Core values:

    • Personal development and being yourself
    • The here and now, individually and as a group
    • Sensitivity
    • Stamina
    • Childlike playfulness, creativity and expression
    • Attention to the whole movement path rather than mastering a particular shape
    • Cultivating body- and self-awareness
    • Learning by doing, physically processing and embodying information right away
